Reconnect with the School

Alumni are always welcome and encouraged to visit the school, attend events and stay in touch. Here are a few examples of how you can reconnect with the school.

Observe a Classroom

Want to visit your old Primary classroom and see the Pink Tower again? Or maybe watch a lesson on the Golden Beads? Have a young child that you would like to send to Montessori? All you need to do is call the school office and Dianne Vots can help you arrange a visit.

Attend Northwoods Events

There are several events that are open to the community that you may enjoy. The annual Peace Celebration in January brings the entire school community together in a celebration of peace honoring the work of Dr. Maria Montessori. Every spring Northwoods hosts is largest fundraising event, the school auction, complete with entertainment, good food, a silent auction and live auction. The Spring Carnival is probably one of the children's favorites!

Are you willing to visit a classroom and talk about your profession? Maybe host a group of Upper Elementary students on a field trip? Help the school with technology upgrades?
